Jili Pond is located at the foot of Maxi Mountain in Guangfu Township, Hualien. Originally a log storage pond during the Japanese colonial period, it gradually fell into disuse as the logging industry declined. After subsequent renovation and beautification, it has been transformed into an ecological waterfront park and is now one of Hualien's hidden gems.
