A precious wetland formed by activity along the Chishang Fault, Dapo Pond is rich in ecological resources. As one of the sources of the Xiuguluan River, Fishing in Chishang was once listed as one of the top ten scenic spots of Taitung. Featuring a lakeside walking trail and bicycle path, Dapo Pond also hosts a bamboo raft festival every summer.
