According to the YNPA, artists from the central region were invited to create works on the Yushan in Tataka during the Yushan by Artists event held in 2011, and these works received heated feedback from the public in the tour afterwards. Continuing this idea, the YNPA invited artists of Yuanlin Youth Art Association to create works in Tataka in the park in early 2014. Yuanlin Youth Art Association was founded in 1968. Under the leadership of past directors including Professor Bingxi Shih and Dr. Zhongguan Zhao, the association explored Taiwan images to reawaken the public’s concerns about the land, culture and history of Taiwan. Today, the association is amongst one of the most important art groups in Taiwan. A total of 30 artists participated in the current, including Kuo-jen Shen, Zong-song Zhao, Ming-liang Liao, Chun-yin Lin, and Nan-sheng Shih. We hope that the beauty of the Yushan can be disseminated farther and wider through the excellent works of artists. We also hope that these works can help us find back love and kindness in everyone’s heart, so as to make social more harmonious and beautiful. The exhibition period is 9 December 2014 to 7 April 2015.
