Introduction
The African lily prefers warm, moist, cool summer climate with temperature ranging 15-30℃. It is a handsome indoor potted plant, but many folks like to plant it in rock gardens and floral trails as margin. It is a slow growing plant, requiring 4-5 years of cultivation to flower. Each stem bears an umbel of 20-50 white, light purple or blue flowers.
