Spring Environmental Rhapsody: Discover Taiwan's Environmental Education Miracle!

The Yilan Green Expo was founded in 2000, initially focusing on green living, ecological conservation, and friendly agriculture as its core themes. Through concept exhibitions, outdoor education, and recreational entertainment, it conveys friendly attitudes toward ecological environments such as emerald rice paddies, lush forests, mountains, seas, lakes, and rivers, forming a foundation of green exploration in harmony with nature.

After 20 years of evolution and accumulating countless aspirations and practices for green living, it now integrates cultural and artistic performances, creates horticultural and floral landscapes, and roots itself in environmental and ecological education.

The Green Expo stands out among numerous themed festival activities nationwide. Due to its commitment to environmental education, the Yilan Green Expo has received the Gold Award at The International Awards for Liveable Communities organized by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme), and has also been listed as one of the international-level festival activities in the Taiwan Tourism Biennial Calendar by the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications.

Rural Tourism Activities

Promotes leisure agriculture and rural tourism, combining rural pastoral scenery to create a slow travel experience with Yilan's unique rural characteristics.

Interactive Experiences

Features various interactive experience designs, including board games, handicrafts, water activities, and zero-electricity, zero-carbon physical parent-child playgrounds and activity facilities.

Green Market and Creative Market

In addition to traditional agricultural product exhibitions and sales, a creative market is established to showcase eco-themed creative products and handmade crafts, integrating cultural creativity with environmental sustainability concepts.

By Car: From National Freeway 5 heading south, turn right from Su'ao Interchange onto County Road 42, go up Xinmalu Bridge, turn right onto Provincial Highway 9 and follow signs for "To Wuliaokeng Scenic Area." Traffic control will be implemented during the event period; it is recommended to search for traffic information on the 'Yilan Green Expo' event webpage first.
