There is no entry charge - all you need is to purchase a drink to enjoy a relaxing afternoon here. If you wish to enter the calla lily field, you may pay an additional NT$100 to wear chest waders and go into the field. To maintain an orderly harvesting experience, reservations are required, allowing visitors to take photos and enjoy the experience to the fullest. There are walkways beside the calla lily field where you can freely walk around and take photos. Just don't get too carried away and fall into the paddy field - that wouldn't be romantic at all.
The Frame of Time - Capturing the Most Beautiful Eternity
Every calla lily season, various calla lily fields compete to create Instagram-worthy photo spots. This year, Jai Fu is preparing to build a [Frame that Captures Time] - a white circular installation that will be placed in the middle of the calla lily field. Visitors can sit on the installation and use their bodies to indicate their favorite time on the clock face.
I arrived too early that day, and the installation was only half complete. The shop kindly allowed me to take photos in the field - it will definitely be even more beautiful when placed among the flowers. I thought the chest waders would be heavy, but they come in various sizes. Ladies, it's recommended to wear shorts before putting on the chest waders, which makes walking easier.
The advantage of wearing chest waders is getting a bit closer to the flower field. Between two rows of flowers, there's a path for visitors to enter and pick flowers. You can pick six flowers at a time. The flower field owner will teach you how to pick them - turn your palm downward and pull the flower firmly. When you pull it out, you'll hear a curious "pop" sound - it's quite fun! Unlike many Instagram-focused flower fields, wearing chest waders to harvest calla lilies is so much fun. The female owner of Tsao Wonderland has not only worked hard to create this 1,000-ping flower field, but the garden also features a dried flower cottage. The warm, colorful tones make it a great place just for taking photos. The cottage has many cute props and wreaths available for photo shoots (permission must be obtained from the shop first) - visiting here with friends for photos sounds wonderful!
Tsao Wonderland features hydrangeas in May-June and daylilies in July-August. Currently, the green areas in the flower field are all hydrangeas and daylilies that haven't bloomed yet. Though it's not yet flowering season, strolling through the winding valley is quite romantic. Following the female owner on a flower and herb tour of the flower field, I prepared to pick my favorite flowers and herbs to decorate my afternoon tea table.

You can even cut the cherry blossoms - I felt reluctant to cut such beautiful flowers, but as the saying goes, "pick flowers while you may," so I gently cut them with scissors. There are many lovely flowers in the field that also make beautiful photo backdrops.
I picked a basket full of flowers, herbs, and vegetables. Besides decoration, many are also edible - having afternoon tea while eating vegetables you picked yourself sounds so fun! Full sweet potato chunks are sandwiched in the cake - the cake is soft and the sweet potato is so sweet. It's delicious eaten cold, and pairs perfectly with the rose tea. The garden has up to 20-30 different plant species, and this diversity stems from the female owner's love of floristry. During non-flowering seasons, the garden also offers various floristry courses for visitors. This time I experienced the [Afternoon Tea Table Floral Arrangement with Flowers and Herbs], personally going into the flower field to pick my favorite flowers and herbs. Besides decorating the table, the hands-on flower picking experience is truly precious. The entire flower field contains many interesting vegetables, herbs, and flowers - here you can freely play and pick flowers, strolling through the tiered flower fields while gazing at the magnificent valley. The sunlight falling like a sprite creates a hazy white veil effect, dreamy and beautiful. Though lacking spectacular blooms, the tranquility here offers a different charm - visiting during non-flowering seasons has its own pleasures.
Tsao Wonderland is certified as a Special Agricultural Tourism Destination. This place is truly different from other flower fields in Bamboo Lake. Covering 1,000 ping (about 3,306 square meters), the tiered flower garden is very large. Admission is NT$100 cleaning fee, which can be used toward purchases in the garden. Basically, ordering a drink lets you spend an entire day here. There's a beautiful rest area beside the flower field where you can gaze at the entire valley's beauty. What's special is that all the drinks and desserts here are handmade by the shop with a health-conscious concept. Though health-focused, they're delicious - many people willingly return just for the cakes here.

The female owner of Tsao Wonderland has not only worked hard to create this 1,000-ping flower field, but the garden also features a dried flower cottage. The corridor outside is decorated with calla lilies and hydrangeas, creating an incredibly dreamy atmosphere - walking here feels like walking on a "Flower Boulevard."
The pure white calla lilies are like welcoming angels greeting our arrival, while the colorful hydrangeas greet us like smiling gifts. The welcoming display at the front of the garden is beautiful, clearly showing the female owner's dedication.
Tsao Wonderland's flower field is terraced, nestled in the valley. The flower field also features a pink torii gate, heart-shaped flower umbrella, and other landscape installations. Though it wasn't flowering season when I visited, it was still breathtakingly beautiful.
The beautiful female owner has created a dried flower cottage. The interior decorations are almost studio-quality, and all bouquets are available for purchase. The warm, colorful tones make it a great place just for taking photos. The cottage has many cute props and wreaths available for photo shoots (permission must be obtained from the shop first) - visiting here with friends for photos sounds wonderful!
The cottage has many fruit vinegars made by the female owner herself, as well as preserved flower bouquets she handmade - all available for purchase.
The garden's dining area is so romantic, nestled against the valley and decorated with flowers. Here, the gentle valley breeze drifts by, and sitting here makes you forget all your worries.Tsao Wonderland features hydrangeas in May-June and daylilies in July-August. Currently, the green areas in the flower field are all hydrangeas and daylilies that haven't bloomed yet. Though it's not yet flowering season, strolling through the winding valley is quite romantic. Following the female owner on a flower and herb tour of the flower field, I prepared to pick my favorite flowers and herbs to decorate my afternoon tea table.
The flower field also has a pink torii gate - how adorable! I can imagine how incredibly beautiful it must be when the hydrangeas are in full bloom.The beautiful female owner said: "You can pick anything you see in the flower field." Besides flowers, the garden also has many vegetables. These vegetables aren't cheap at market prices, but here you can pick them freely. Besides decorating, you can also eat them with your afternoon tea.
The garden also has beautiful Yoshino cherry blossoms, making up for not viewing cherry blossoms this year. You can even cut the cherry blossoms - I felt reluctant to cut such beautiful flowers, but as the saying goes, "pick flowers while you may," so I gently cut them with scissors. There are many lovely flowers in the field that also make beautiful photo backdrops.I picked a basket full of flowers, herbs, and vegetables. Besides decoration, many are also edible - having afternoon tea while eating vegetables you picked yourself sounds so fun! All the vegetables in the flower field are organically grown without pesticides, so just a quick rinse with water and they're ready to eat.The female owner first arranged the base of the table setting. Cutely, I even spotted broccoli among the decorations! Here you can enjoy the fun of decorating your table - it's more pleasant than having afternoon tea at a café.
Arranging your favorite flowers on the tray, the shop's handmade sweet potato cake makes its appearance. The rose tea is very special - it features a rare three-dimensional rose that blooms when hot water is added. The delicate rose tea fragrance is smooth and sweet, very healthy and delicious.When visiting Tsao Wonderland, don't miss the handmade cakes here. The female owner's daughter has excellent baking skills. Full sweet potato chunks are sandwiched in the cake - the cake is soft and the sweet potato is so sweet. It's delicious eaten cold, and pairs perfectly with the rose tea. Even visiting Tsao Wonderland during non-flowering seasons, strolling through the flower field feels poetic. The undisturbed, leisurely time is even more precious. The flower paths wind gracefully through the valley. Enjoying the valley breeze and breathing in the mountain freshness - this kind of romance is unique to Bamboo Lake.
