The farm is more than 3 hectares large and the family has made a living by raising ducks for 3 generations. Nantou - Owl’s Home in Sun Moon Lake
DIY Black Tea Making and DIY Owl Wood Sculpture
Owl’s Home in Sun Moon Lake was a tea making factory of 60 some years of history and the factory was in Yuchi Township. The owner and his wife loves owls and once they picked up a batch of woods and found the faces of owls in the woods after cutting the woods into slices. They tried to make wood pieces in different shapes of the owl and it gradually became the DIY event for all to join.
The activity space, arrangement of traffic flow, materials for use all reflect their attention to details. The old factory is now an experiential arena, which can accommodate almost a hundred people.

Yilang - Fairy Story Ecological Farm
Playing on the Slide, B&B with Hot Spring, Being a Tree Doctor and Feeding Fish
“Mulberry Tree Doctor” is the signature parent-kid experiential activity on Fairy Story Ecological Farm in Yilan and it is conducted year round. Because the mulberry trees cultivated without pesticides are often nibbled by longhorn beetles so the organic treatment is chosen. Pressing the stethophone on the mulberry trees and you will hear the sounds of flowing water and nibbling longhorn beetles.
There is also a rice hulling event to process the rice. Going to the filed to pick scallions for DIY scallion pancakes, and savor the cakes right away. Children can take the nursing bottles to feed the fish, have massage by fish, or pick Roselle.
