The flower of golden trumpet trees is the national flower of Brazil. This kind of tree looks different according to the change of seasons. Spring is its blooming season without much leaves, foliage grows in summer time with pods and if you are lucky, you would see a lovely surprise with the falling samara seeds, as if they were flying. And in autumn, it looks verdant and prosperous while in winter, the leaves are fallen and the tree looks lonely.
March is its blooming season with a short 2 weeks. Flower lovers must seize time to watch it.
The corolla of this flower is in a shape of a funnel or a wind bell, and it has curvature on the edge of the petals, which are in symmetry with a color of showy yellow. Planted by the two sides of the pond, the trees are tall and straight. But watch out for the flowers and the fuzzy seed pods which will make you itchy.

Sanfeng Road in Houli, Taichung
The golden trumpet trees are in full bloom in the central road curbs of the Sanfeng Rd., along the Provincial Highway 13. The golden view winds along the road for several kilometers, and it is like a huge dragon. Very spectacular!
Puzi Park and Taishun Road in Taichung
Puzi Park is said the most beautiful park with the golden floral sea, as if a big feast takes place in March. When the flowers of golden trumpet trees fall down, it is like a golden shower. How romantic it is strolling in the park. The golden trumpet trees are planted from Taishun Road all the way to Huanzhong E. Rd., the golden passageway covers a great area; therefore, this is a renown destination for flower watching.

Boulevard of Golden Trumpet Trees in Fenyuan Zhanghua
Zhangnan Rd. near Treasure Temple in Fenyuan, is 5 km long with some 600 golden trumpet trees. This shiny golden road is the most beautiful and the longest golden passageway in Taiwan. The show is on stage every March. Watch out during parking and for your safety when watching flowers since the the cars are driven much faster on this Provincial Highway 14.

Kengneikeng Forest Trail in Er-shui, Zhanghua
This year the trees produce a wonderful golden flower display which looks like a shiny golden forest. It is a delightful and relaxing walk along the forest trail.
Location: In Er-shui Township, Zhanghua. The entrance is next to Shoude Temple- turning into Kengnei Rd., at the sign of 31K on Provincial Highway 137
Nankang University of Technology, Nantou
The pedestrian path filled with golden trumpet trees is betweenNankang University of Technology and Fugong Elementary School, and it is a safe place to watch flowers. The canopy of both yellow and light purple flowers of the trumpet trees makes it uniquely beautiful. The child playground in Tsaotun not far away also has golden trumpet trees, and it is also a great scenic spot for photo shooting as well as to bring kids there.

Golden Trumpet Tree Path near the Riverbank by Bazhang River in Chiayi
From the dike of Bazhang River, walking through Junhui Bridge till Xixing Street or Renyi Road in Zhongpu Township which is not far away, visitors would enjoy the golden trumpet trees which produced a spectacular flower display this March. The golden sea covering the area along the Bagua River in Chiayi, so the beautiful scenery is within residents’ reach.

Golden Trumpet Tree Path by Puzi River in Taibao, Chiayi
The flower display was fantastic in Year 2015 and it was said the most beautiful floral sea of golden trumpet trees across Taiwan; therefore, it is the most popular check-in destination for all these years. The golden trumpet trees on both sides of “the access road of Puzi River” snake along for 1 km, and its romance is limited only in spring.

Dike of Tailin Bridge in Minxiong, Chiayi
“Dike of Tailin Bridge” is super popular these days, because in the direction to Xiulin Village, the flowers of golden trumpet trees were in full bloom for 1 km, and there are 4 paths for flower watching and photo shooting by the walls of flowers. The most popular angel for an IG photo is sitting by the dike.

Weiwuying Metropolitan Park in Kaohsiung
Golden trumpet trees are also in downtown Kaohsiung and Metropolitan Park by Weiwuyin is a place with the largest area planting these trees.They are by the lake in the park and together with its reflection looks so wonderful.
