The secret of defloration is to cut down the ones with the bud in half-bloom. Do not pick the gorgeous ones that are in the middle of blooming for it signifies their having reached the summit of life. You will be quite disappointed to discover their short, limited flower viewing period at home. My husband collects 11 roses, whose language of flowers is “you will always be the only one I love for the rest of my life” (sweet smile), before handing them to me. I accept the bouquet of roses wrapped in newspapers and place it on the bedside in our bedroom to take as a loving adornment, which also becomes the most beautiful and romantic memory of this small trip.
