Maple Trees and Cloud Waterfall, the Marvelous Scenery

Dahu Strawberry down the Manabangshan is island wide famous. It is always crowded with cars and visitors in strawberry season. Strawberry is harvested in winter, the season when the sky is always covered with clouds and mists; when visitors look down from the top, there are always beautiful cloud waterfalls. Also, the maples turn red in winter, and the mountain covered with maple red is very enchanting that attracts many photographers.

The high mountain is the right place to shoot the splendid scenery and Maple Map is one of those Bed&Breakfast in higher altitude, more than 700 meters above sea level. It has a great greenery view.
Looking farther from the courtyard, we can see clearly the warehouse facilities in Taichung Port and the 5 chimneys of Taichung Power Plant. Liyutan Dam in Zhuolan and Ginger Garden Leisure Farm across the mountain are also clearly seen in closer area. Finally, the terrace fields around Dahu Dongxing area scatter around and the view is full of strawberry gardens.

The view is good and the mountains in the surrounding enable visitors to go hiking to Manabangshan, one of the Top 100 small mountains for even greater scenery. And a easier way to rest body and mind is also available by sitting in the courtyard, even the rooms are furnished with tea making setting so that on colder days when the travellers drink tea in the rooms, the scenery is in sight.

In November, the maples start to turn red, the sea of clouds appears and it is the season to harvest strawberry so that there are many tourists in the winter time. There are fireflies and tung flowers in April and May that fireflies fly around in the courtyard. Many photographers shoot great pictures here.
